The Poulton & Wyre Railway Society hopes to provide a very important and valued service for the community.
Our volunteers have been restoring the Fleetwood to Poulton rail corridor since 2006. This line has been in existance since 1840 and was the first direct rail connection from a coastal resort to Euston, London, in the whole UK.
Our vision is to fully restore this valuable rail link between Fleetwood and Poulton as a heritage railway and regular commuter service.
We already have most of the rail track cleared and ready to operate rolling stock on it. We have stations at Burn Naze and Thornton and intend further stations at Poulton to link with main line services and stations at Jameson Road, Fleetwwod and possible a train/tram exchange terminus near the Three Lights public house neat the Fleetwood docks.
We need your help so we can continue with clearing the rail track and maintaining it in good order and restoring our rolling stock.

Thank you for your support and good luck!
